Taco Soup

11:10 PM

We've had so many cold, snowy nights. The perfect weather for soups and chilis! I wanted to share my taco soup recipe with all of you to also enjoy. It'll make you all warm and fuzzy inside, and it's super easy to make! :) This is a simple recipe and is made much like my chili. However, it has a totally different taste when you want to mix things up a bit. I hope you all enjoy!

Things you will need

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion
1 packet taco seasoning
1 Tbs salt
1 Tbs pepper
1 Tbs chili powder
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can petite diced tomatoes with green chilies
Fiesta blend shredded cheese
Tortilla chips

Directions

Add ground beef to large pot and turn on medium heat

Peel and chop onion and add to pot with meat

Add salt, pepper, and chili powder to mixture (feel free to adjust measurements to your liking, I always end up adding more salt). Cook together until beef is browned and onions are translucent. Drain grease off mixture and add back to pot. Pour in tomatoes with chilies, corn, and 4 cans of water. Add taco seasoning and stir until mixed thoroughly.
Cook over low-medium heat for about 45 minutes.

It's ready to eat! Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top and add some tortilla chips. Enjoy! (don't mind my Christmas mug, it's the best soup bowl there is ;)

P.S. This is a bit spicy, but even my 4 year old loved it!

Hugs and Love,
